This is how I added dandelion chip, on Nikon PB 4 bellow without direct modification.
This is the information how to mount dandelion chip on Nikon AIS lens
This manual describe how to program the mounted chip by your nikon Body.
I got these chips from Ebay seller.
I just strip off Kenko Teleconverter and used the chips mount from kenko to hold the dandelion chip, no need for glue. I have to strip all lens inside kenko tele tube and also remove kenko chip inside the tube.
The additional chip can be removed if not needed, just put the extension tube with dandelion chip on my Nikon PB4 bellow. I can use the shift and tilt advantage offer by Nikon PB4 and used the flexibility Digital camera give me ( Mainly used with my nikon D50 & Nikon D850 body.)
Now I can shoot with any of nikon Digital body on PB4 with P, A & M mode. Just select the aperature on camera body, set the same value on lens, and the light mettering would working as like with the normal nikon lens with chips! Exif will recorded the bellow & lens as 135mm/f5,6 Lens.
First shoot with Nikon D50 on A mode using PB4 and Nikkor EL135 /f5.6
PB4 on Action with tilt mode for macro
And now with nikon D850 live view mode, it’s easy to set the focus and plan level of Tilting, you can work from your weist level.
